Neil Gobioff is President of The Gobioff Foundation, a private family foundation established by Neil’s brother Howard Gobioff, in 2007, only months before his unexpected death from lymphoma in March, 2008. The Gobioff Foundation carries out the intention of its founder, “to make the world a better place,” through grants, programs and initiatives. The Gobioff Foundation supports the arts in the Tampa Bay area as well as civil liberties, human rights, and social justice organizations. Over the last few years, the Gobioff Foundation as nurtured a youth board and their collaborative grant-making. Neil also serves as the chair for the Tampa Arts Alliance and is a founder of Crab Devil, an arts company building an immersive arts attraction in Tampa.
