Black-led organizations continue to be chronically underfunded by traditional philanthropy. They also experience funder support that waxes and wanes with community crises and other events. How can we break this pattern and become lasting partners in the work of strengthening Black communities and ending structural racism and inequality? In this panel, we will explore trust-based approaches to funder and nonprofit alliances, and provide practical advice for working collaboratively to empower Black-led organizations.
